Montana Brown, known for her appearance on Love Island in 2017, has opened up about her experience with post-partum hair loss. The 28-year-old reality star and her fiancé Mark O’Connor welcomed their son Jude into the world in June.
A Candid Update on Social Media
Montana has been documenting her journey into motherhood on social media and recently shared an update on her current recovery. In a selfie, she revealed, "Also on top of everything else post-partum…I washed my hair for the first time in a long time since surgery, it was so painful but worth it but then I discovered I’m balding now so that’s fabulous news. So now I’m a sexy bald, immobile and spotty mum."
Celebrating Her 28th Birthday
Earlier this month, Montana looked incredible as she showcased her post-baby body in a bikini while abroad with Mark and Jude to celebrate her 28th birthday.
Challenges with Breastfeeding
Months before giving birth, Montana revealed that her son Jude had to undergo surgery to release his tongue tie. She shared her emotional journey, saying, "Jude is tongue tied, and I just wasn’t expecting her to tell me that he was tongue tied…He’s also got a lip tie as well, which we didn’t notice, so it’s stopping him from properly latching. And so he’s going to have to get it lasered. And I don’t know (why) it is, but it makes me really upset."
An Exciting Year for Montana and Mark
Montana and Mark went official as a couple in October 2021 and announced their pregnancy in December. The pair got engaged in June, making this a truly eventful year for the Love Island star and her fiancé.
