LOVED-UP Maura Higgins and Chris Taylor broached the subject of marriage in a tell-all Instagram Q&A on New Year’s Day.
The Love Island pair were quizzed about marriage by their followers – and revealed they might tie the knot this year.
Maura, 30, held the question and answer session alongside Chris, 30 – and while it started off plainly, quickly turned to talking about marriage.
One fan asked the pair: “When are [you two] getting married?”, leaving them both looking bewildered for a moment.
The couple only announced their relationship publicly in November after weeks of speculation, but it seems the pair are moving fast.
“When are we getting married, Christ?” Maura joked to her boyfriend, who looked surprised and scared in equal measure.
“Oh God, erm… next year?” an on-the-spot Chris replied, with Maura batting straight back, remembering it was New Year’s Day: “Like, as in this year?”
“No, next year,” Christ quickly cleared up – but the discussion wasn’t over yet.
Maura continued teasing Chris, moaning “that’s ages [away]” while they snuggled up on the sofa together to answer the messages.
Chris relented with a worried look on his face: “OK, this year.”
Lovebirds Maura and Chris both appeared on the same series of Love Island but didn’t couple up on the show.
The pair made their relationship official on Instagram last month, and jet-setted off to Dubai for their first holiday as a couple.
Despite previously denying rumours of romance, Maura posted a picture of the pair looking loved up, writing: “He’s mine.”
