Stunning Sanam recently took part in a photoshoot where she got in touch with her Indian heritage donning stunning traditional outfits and jewels – and it’s made her think about her own big day.

Sanam, who moved in with Kai in June, tell us: “It’s definitely made me consider having two different weddings after wearing those outfits, an Indian wedding and also a British wedding.”

The star, who is Indo/ Caribbean adds: “Mixing the cultures is something I have started to consider so possibly but we’ll have to wait and see.”

Her wedding thoughts comes after she opened up about her heritage, saying: “I only really started to look into my heritage when I was on Love Island when people started to question if I was Indian or Caribbean – people didn’t understand what Indo/Caribbean was. But I was starting to see so many positive comments from girls who finally felt represented!”

She continued to OK! Magazine:  “I have always felt like I’ve had a bit of an identity crisis because I haven’t felt like I fit in with the Indian culture, but I also don’t feel like I fit in with the Caribbean side either.

“So this was a wonderful way to find out more about myself and my Indian side. My mum was so excited for me when I told her I’d be dressing in modern embellished Lehengas and jewelled tops.”

She also discussed taking boyfriend Kai to learn about her heritage, saying: “I was born in Trinidad and Tobago and I’m looking forward to taking myself and Kai over there to visit visit my family and show him more of my heritage and culture in the new year.”
