LOVE Island fans have bluntly dubbed Mitchel Taylor a “walking red flag.”

It comes after the Sheffield lad’s comments about his name being “brought up” in conversation during a discussion with Scott Van Der Sluis.

Love Island fans have dubbed Mitchel Taylor a ‘walking red flag’

It came after he pulled Scott for a chat

Scott has made a move on Casa Amor bombshell Abi

Mitch is coupled up with bombshell Abi Moores but last night grabbed Scott for a chat about his desire to get to know her.

He told the footballer he had “a bone to pick” and said: “Obviously you’re getting to know Abi.

“I’m being super respectful by it. You’re in a situation that I’ve been in so obviously I give you the benefit of the doubt.

“But I don’t appreciate my name being brought up – I don’t need to be mentioned.”

He then insisted that Abi was “not single” and part of a love triangle – and he and her were “going well.”

Mitch then told Scott he had given him time “to get to know Abi as a friend.”

This line sparked the concern of some Love Island fans, with one taking to Twitter to write: Mitch is a red flag man. This conversation is just coercing Abi into staying with him. It’s giving manipulator lol.”

A second bluntly put: “Mitch is such a red flag,” as a third continued: “Nah sorry Mitch is funny but he’s a walking red flag, what’s he on about.”

Another added: “I know everyone thinks Mitch is funny but this man is actually a walking red flag when it comes to being in a relationship… how is he this controlling after only a week of knowing each other.”

Previously Mitch has been branded “TV’s biggest stalker” in a conversation which was edited out of villa life.

Fellow show star Andre Furtado said Mitch reminded him of serial killer Joe Goldberg from hit Netflix drama You.

Andre said the comment sparked an argument but it was hushed up by Love Island producers.

The star – who was dumped from the villa last month – said in a recent tweet: “I remember I told Mitch he’s moving like Joe from YOU and he got p****d off at me.”

Fans reacted in their droves and were raging that the moment never made into the nightly episodes.

“Nah Andre finished him,” one said alongside a crying with laughter emoji.

Earlier in the series, Mitch was accused of gaslighting Molly after she chatted to Zach, and Mitch later confronted her in bed as she tried to sleep.

Furious Mitch whispered to her: “Don’t ever talk to me again.”
