CORRIE fans are convinced they’ve discovered who will expose Sarah Platt’s vicious baby DNA lies.

Sarah learned about her pregnancy following an affair with Damon Hay last month.

At the start of Wednesday’s Corrie episode Sarah Platt, played by Tina O’Brien, is seen talking to a panicked husband Adam Barlow, played by Samuel Robertson, about his upcoming child custody case.

“Had any more thoughts about today?” Sharon asked Adam while making a brew.

“What’s that” replied Adam

“The paternity results,” said Sarah. “What we talked about last night,” she continued.

“I’m just trying to focus on this case right now, keep my mind off things, you know” utters Adam back.

“I think it would be nice if we could be excited,” said Sarah.

She continued: “I don’t want to be scared and ignoring each other.

“There’s nothing to be scared of” comforted Adam

“I want you to be the father of this baby, regardless of the paternity results”, replied a nervous Sarah.

“I can’t do this right now,” Adam exclaimed, getting up and packing his things.

Adam finalised to Sarah. “We’ll speak later,” and headed off.

Adam attended the court case but had a panic attack outside, encouraging him to go home.

When he arrived, he told Sarah: “I was standing up in court, I was saying the words, but I had all these thoughts going around in my head about you, about Damon.”

“About whether I am the father of this baby… It is like this weight on me, Sarah, knowing that we agreed to a termination if the baby is his, but I just know what that is going to do to you.”

“Hey, you don’t have to worry about that now,” replied a panicked Sarah.

“What do you mean? I’m the father?” concluded Adam.

“Can I see the letter?” he asked.

“No… because they phoned.” lied Sarah.

A delighted and relieved Adam stood up in high spirits and spoke to Sarah about moving on and living happily as a family unit.

As he left the shop, Adam bumped into his brother, Daniel Osbourne, played by Rob Mallard and hastily told him about the paternity results.

“Congratulations! So what did they actually say these things? Are they 100 percent accurate?” quizzed Daniel.

“They called you? “They didn’t send you a letter? They should send it to you in writing too…” he continued.

Coronation Street fans flooded the Twitter timeline and claimed that Daniel would be the one to uncover and expose Sarah’s destructive lie.

One fan tweeted: “Well, that secret clearly won’t stay hidden for long, will it?”

Another wrote: “For a lawyer, he’s such a f***ing gullible idiot. Even Daniel knows you should be informed in writing.”

A third speculated: “Mmmm, I have a feeling that Daniel is gonna be the bearer of bad news and tell Adam she lied to him about getting the results..”

A fourth penned: “Let’s hope Adam finds the letter…”

Coronation Street airs every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8 pm on ITV.
