OLIVIA Attwood has claimed the Love Island villa was “worse than coronavirus lockdown” as stars didn’t have their phones.
The 28-year-old – who was in the 2017 series – said she was “controlled and contained” so is better prepared for quarantine than most.
She told MailOnline: “We were more contained, there was more control. In the villa, you couldn’t call anyone or go for a walk. If anything, it was worse!”
Olivia admits the sunshine, swimming pool and constant games in the villa helped ease her boredom.
But talking about the positives of being in self-isolation with fiance Bradley Dack.
She added: “Right now I can speak to my genuine friends and I’m not just stuck with a bunch of strangers.
“We were more contained, there was more control, you couldn’t call anyone or go for a walk but with coronavirus, you can walk outside your front door as long as you’re in the guidelines.
“You can make whatever food you want and have a glass of wine, whereas in Love Island you ate when you were told to eat and you had minimal alcohol.”
Olivia admits she struggles not being “mentally busy” and is having to work hard to see the positives of staying home.
She’s lost work through the coronavirus pandemic – with Towie filming suspended indefinitely.
But Olivia is going to use the time to air her skin by not wearing make-up and removing her hair extensions to “let go and recover”.
She was forced to hit back at online trolls, telling them to “f*** off” in foul-mouthed rant after they criticised her lip fillers.
Olivia revealed a message from a follower, which read: “Please stop with the lip fillers. Ur not a duck. Ur so pretty already and U don’t need them.’ [sic]”
She instantly replied: “Mind your own f**king business!! And keep your opinions to your self!”
But clearly still wound up by the comment, she posted a video slamming trolls in general for being involved in her business.
She said: “I’m not gonna sit here and pretend that I am someone that suffers with trolling, because I actually feel like, compared to a lot of people, I’m very lucky in that sense.
“But this s**t grinds my gears so f**king bad. I must see these kind of messages more than anything. And they’re so good, because there’s always a backhanded compliment in there.
“And it’s always unfortunately a middle-aged woman. I hate to stereotype, but it always, always, always, is. And maybe the reason I don’t get that much trolling is because I always will message people back.”
