The Gorge Home Black Compact Air Fryer costs less than £30

These cooking gadgets make cooking easy, use less oil, and can help you cut back on your energy bills.

A 1,000W air fryer costs just 17p to run for 30 minutes and 34p to run for an hour.

And with this in mind, shoppers are rushing to Asda to get their hands on a £25 air fryer.

The gadget has also had its price cut by £3 after originally retailing for £28.

And shoppers have described the gadget as “really easy to use.”

Posting on the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK Facebook group one shopper said: “We have one and it’s great.”

“I bought one for my daughter for university and she loves it,” said another.

The George Home air fryer comes with a 1.5ltr capacity and dishwasher-safe basket and drip tray.

The gadget has a handy 30-minute timer and uses can cook at temperatures between 60°C and 200°C.

The 900W air fryer is light too – weighing just 2.9kg.

The air fryer is available online and in-store at most of Asda’s 633 shops.

Be aware that those who order the gadget online will face delivery fees unless they opt for click-and-collect.

Asda charges 2.95 for standard delivery and £4.50 for next-day or named-day delivery on the George Home website.

You can find your closest Asda store by visiting the retailer’s website and using the store locator tool.

But remember you might find that your closest store doesn’t have the gadget in stock.

But if you are thinking of buying an air fryer, it’s also worth having a quick shop around first as you might be able to find a similar product cheaper elsewhere.

Prices vary by model, size and retailer so it’s worth having a browse before you make a decision.

Use price comparison tools like Google Shopping to find similar products from other retailers and compare prices.

The 1.5ltr air fryer from Asda is the cheapest we’ve seen for that size.

Those looking for a slightly bigger air fryer can buy a 2ltr gadget from Robert Dyas right now for £39.99.

Remember, it’s only a good deal if you were wanting an air fryer in the first place – if you get it just because of the offer, you aren’t necessarily saving money.
