PIERS Morgan has told his sons they’ll be scrapped from his will if they dare to go on Love Island.

The Good Morning Britain host, who has always been scathing about the matchmaking series, made his blunt comments on Tuesday’s episode of the ITV breakfast show.

Piers Morgan has told his sons they will be scrapped from his will if they star in Love Island

After a segment on the new Love Island stars, who have jetted to South Africa for the winter series, Piers growled: Why are these cretins back in the winter?

He then put his foot in it by admitting one of his sons is currently soaking up the sunshine in Cape Town, where the new ITV2 series will start in a matter of days.

His co-host Susanna wittily quipped:Has he gone to Cape Town to go on Love Island?

An irked Piers then replied: My sons get regularly approached for these shows but they know I’ll write them out of the will if they go on.

He did not detail just which of his three sons, these being Spencer, 26, Stanley, 22, and Albert, 19, had been contacted by show bosses.

With the new series set to begin this weekend, it remains to be seen whether any of them have defied his direct wishes.

His eldest Spencer, who is close pals with Made In Chelsea’s Georgia Toffolo, is currently on holiday in Barbados and keeping his Instagram followers up to date with his sun-soaked antics.

Stanley, meanwhile, was seen attending an Atlanta Hawks game two days ago.

The GMB anchor branded Love Island contestants cretins

The opinionated TV anchor has never shied away from showing his disdain for the series.

Earlier this year, he mimed shooting himself in the head as he ranted over the return of the reality TV series and ranted about the contestants “not being able to count to ten.”

He scoffed: “Tonight’s challenge is going to be they’re asked to count to ten and to name their favourite colour.

“They will then be asked if they can remember their answer an hour later.

“It’s going to be great fun. We’re going to get the Love Island contestants’ views on everything from Donald Trump’s state visit to Brexit.”
