IT’S almost time for the new school year.
We’ve rounded up our best back-to-school deals and discounts, including the cheapest school uniform and a pencil case that costs 89p.
First thing you need to do is write a list of everything that you need to buy and then set yourself a budget.
Do your research before you hit the shops to find out the cheapest prices and make sure you don’t miss out on a bargain.
If you can’t afford new items try buying second hand from charity shops, eBay or even local Facebook selling pages.
Here are our top 10 back to school bargains:
School uniform bundle for £4
Lidl and Aldi are selling a school uniform bundle for just £4 this year.
It’s the cheapest price we’ve found on the high street for a jumper, two-pack of polo shirts and a skirt or trousers.
You can buy the items by themselves too.
They cost 50p for a jumper, two-polo shirts cost £1.75 and the trousers or skirt also £1.75.
Shop around if the items don’t work for your school uniform. There are some bargains out there.
For example, Sainsbury’s has slashed the price of old stock in stores. We found a school dress for £1 down from £9.
Plus Poundland has a new range of school wear that starts from £1.
School bags
School bags are pricey! We could hardly find anything under the £10 mark.
This £2 drawstring bag is perfect for your little ones PE kit or swim bag.
It comes in blue, navy, green and red.
We also found a Peppa Pig bag at George, Asda for £9.
As well as a spiderman one for £10.
Stationary
Tesco is selling a back to school bundle with 11 items, including a backpack, notebook, glue sticks, scissors, writing set and pencil case and it costs just £6, down from £12.
If you don’t need all the items however it could be poor value.
