Faulty Packaging Poses Injury Risk

ALDI, the major supermarket chain, has issued an emergency recall for two fragrances due to a packaging fault that could cause the glass bottles to break. The fragrances, Lacura Cozmo His and Lacura Cozmo Hers, have been removed from all ALDI stores, and a product notice has been posted on the company's website.

Customers Urged to Return Product for Refund

ALDI has urged customers to return the recalled fragrances to their nearest stores and is offering a full refund, even without a receipt. The company emphasizes that all of their products undergo rigorous safety and quality checks before being sold.

Popular and Affordable Christmas Gift

The Lacura fragrances, priced at £6.99 each, quickly became a favorite among ALDI shoppers. Many praised them for their similarity to luxury perfumes by Paco Rabanne, with savings of up to 94% compared to the designer brand.

Additional Recall for Contaminated Cheese

In a separate recall, the Food Standards Agency has warned that four types of cheeses might be contaminated with the Shiga toxin, which produces E.coli. Mrs. Kirkham's Mild and Creamy Lancashire, Mrs. Kirkham's Tasty Lancashire, Mrs. Kirkham's Mature Lancashire, and Mrs. Kirkham's Smoked Lancashire have all been recalled as a precaution. Customers are advised to contact the shop where they purchased the cheese and to not consume it if in doubt.
