CADBURY is set to delight fans by bringing back a much-loved Christmas chocolate after nearly a decade off the shelves.
Fans said Christmas had been “ruined” when Cadbury discontinued its chocolate coins in 2014.

The coins will be available in both a festive net and a gift tin
Many demanded their comeback with tweets and petitions, but the choclatier argued that the treats weren’t profitable because supermarkets sell their own, cheaper versions.
But the iconic product is to shops, in a move that is bound to spread some Christmas cheer.
They will be available in supermarkets nationwide from September in both a 70g festive net for £1.99 or in a 230g decorative, gift tin for £6.99.
But retailers are free to set their own prices, so make sure you double check the cost before you head to the checkout.
The coins are made from Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, loved for its creamy and smooth texture.
Katie Hill, junior brand manager for Cadbury, said: “If you cast your mind back to 2014, you may remember that Cadbury was breaking hearts across the nation, as we announced the sad discontinuation of our much-loved Chocolate Coins.
“So we’re thrilled to be able to finally announce we’ll be bringing back this beloved holiday treasure this year – a product which represents festive joy and nostalgia for so many.”
While Sarah Foden, archivist for Cadbury, said the product has a “timeless charm” that captures the joy and excitement of Christmas.
Cabdury isn’t the only brand to delight fans by bringing back its retro favourites.
Muller is bringing back its Mississippi Mud Pie flavour in September.
While Pizza Hut recently announced the return of two discontinued menu items after nearly a decade.
And McDonald’s recently announced the return of an iconic freebie and fans were going wild.
And shoppers are only just realising an iconic 90s discontinued food is back in supermarkets.
