Lava lamps are back in stock for £16

Lava lamps were a major hit in the 1960s and 1970s

Shoppers took to Facebook to express their excitement after spotting these retro lamps back on the shelves at B&M.

One customer mentioned that there are other models available as well.

She commented: "They have the big floor standing ones too, I saw them yesterday.

"They also had the electric ball lamps too that you touch and the electric follows your fingers."

However, some shoppers advised caution when buying lava lamps, stating: "Be careful. I bought one a few years ago and they get very hot."

Lava lamps were invented by Edward Craven Walker in 1963 and became a cultural phenomenon in the 1960s and 1970s.

The lamp's fluid, organic movements appealed to the psychedelic aesthetic of the era, making it a sought-after decorative item.

Over the years, variations in size, shape, and color have kept the lava lamp relevant in contemporary design and nostalgia.

90s Beauty Essential Returns

In addition to the lava lamps, B&M shoppers are also celebrating the return of an iconic beauty essential from the 90s.

Fans of the Impulse O2 Lemon and Freesia body spray are thrilled to find it back on the shelves, priced at just £1.

The original fragrance from the 90s is back by popular demand in a throwback edition.

The O2 scent is described as a fresh yet delicate feminine fragrance, opening with refreshing citrus, splashed with fresh green notes, enveloped by elegant jasmine and freesia, and underscored by amber, musk, and cedarwood.

Just like with the lava lamps, shoppers flocked to Facebook to share their excitement about the return of this retro body spray.

"Definitely getting some of these bad boys," one user wrote.

Another commented: "Impulse has grown up!"

While one shopper mentioned that the scent is slightly different from how they remembered it, others are hoping that more nostalgic scents will make a comeback.

One user said: "Hoping they bring back Spice Girls 2!"

Another quickly replied: "I was just going to say!

"I loved that smell; it's something I've never forgotten."
