Deadline Missed

A EuroMillions winner in the UK has sadly missed out on a life-changing £1 million prize after failing to claim their ticket by the September 27 deadline. The winning ticket was purchased in Warwickshire during the UK Millionaire Maker prize draw on March 31, 2023.

Unclaimed Money to Support National Lottery-Funded Projects

Andy Carter, Senior Winners' Advisor at The National Lottery, confirmed that the unfortunate ticket-holder did not come forward to claim their prize. However, the £1 million will now be added to the £30 million raised each week for National Lottery-funded projects.

Check Your Tickets Online or In-store

The National Lottery advises players to check their tickets online using the National Lottery app or website. Playing online ensures that tickets are automatically checked and winners receive email notifications. Retail tickets can also be scanned using the National Lottery app to check for wins. It's important for players to claim their prizes within 180 days (about six months) from the day of the draw.

Another Lucky Winner

In contrast to the unclaimed £1 million, a single-ticket holder recently won an impressive £5.2 million in the midweek National Lottery draw. This serves as a reminder for Brits to check their tickets promptly to avoid missing out on potential winnings.
