Secret Affair Revealed
Former UK Prime Minister Harold Wilson has been revealed to have had an affair with his aide during his time in Downing Street. Joe Haines, Wilson's press secretary, disclosed that Janet Hewlett-Davies was Wilson's lover.

Contrary to speculations about an affair with his political secretary, Wilson's true "love match" was with Hewlett-Davies. The affair, which Wilson described as giving him "a new lease of life," took place during his second term in No10 from 1974 to 1976.
A Life Unveiled
Wilson, born in 1916 in Yorkshire, had a long and illustrious career in politics. He served as Prime Minister twice, from 1964 to 1970 and from 1974 to 1976. Despite enduring rumors of other affairs, the one with Hewlett-Davies remained a secret until now.
