How the Conservatives Can Make a Comeback and Win the Next Election

Introduction

Christmas is approaching, but Conservative MPs are worried about their chances of winning the next election. However, I believe that a double-digit Labour poll lead is not insurmountable. In this article, I outline how the Conservatives can make a comeback and secure victory at the ballot box.

1. Go After Sir Keir Starmer

Sir Keir Starmer remains an enigma to the British public. They don't know who he really is, and what they do know is contradictory. Unlike former Labour leader Tony Blair, Starmer hasn't taken on the hard left. He served in Jeremy Corbyn's shadow cabinet and failed to speak out against anti-Semitism. We need to expose who Starmer and the Labour Party really are.

2. Focus on Economic Growth

The economy isn't growing enough, partly due to high taxes. By 2024, taxes are forecasted to rise to an unprecedented 37% of national income. Chancellor Rishi Sunak must take bold action to lower taxes and kick-start growth. People need to feel better off and see the sacrifices of the pandemic behind them.

3. Get Migration Under Control

We must do whatever it takes to deliver on the Prime Minister's pledge to stop illegal migration. While we have reduced it, showing the British people that we mean business by deporting migrants to Rwanda will break the people smugglers' business model. Labour, on the other hand, wants to get closer to the EU, which will lead to more migration.

4. Fight Against the Costs of Net Zero Targets

The public doesn't want to bear the increasing costs of achieving Net Zero targets through their taxes. Labour plans to charge at least an extra £28bn to the British public for green initiatives. When Conservatives align with the public on this issue, our polling improves.

5. Stand Up Against the Trans Lobby

We must protect the rights of biological adult females to have safe spaces, such as female toilets and hospital wards. It cannot be enough for individuals to simply self-identify as women. The cancel culture that silences women who speak out on this issue must be ended. Labour has been weak on this, causing many brave women to feel unwanted in the party.

Conclusion

The next election will be a tough fight, but the Conservatives can win if they tackle key issues and expose the true nature of the Labour Party. By highlighting the choice on the economy, migration, Net Zero costs, and cancel culture, we can secure victory and get our fight back.
