Illegal migrants who were evacuated from the Bibby Stockholm accommodation barge in Dorset will soon return, following the clearance of a Legionnaires' outbreak. The residents were temporarily relocated after the bacteria was found in the water. However, the ship has now been given the all clear for habitation again, according to sources from the Home Office.

Legionnaires' disease explained

Legionnaires' disease is a serious lung infection caused by Legionella bacteria. It is usually contracted by inhaling small droplets of infected water. Although the bacteria can exist in water sources such as ponds and rivers, it can multiply rapidly in environments like air conditioning systems.

Home Secretary's commitment to ending illegal migration

Home Secretary Suella Braverman recently made a pledge to take decisive action to tackle illegal migration in the UK. In a speech at a conference, she criticized opposition politicians and dismissed concerns about uncontrolled immigration as unfounded. Braverman vowed to prioritize border control and address the issue of illegal migration more effectively than previous governments.
