Shocking Display

A Labour candidate has caused controversy after using gravestones to hang an election campaign banner. Photos revealed the poster of Darren Rodwell's face, with two straps fixed to headstones in a cemetery in Barking, East London.

Bidding for Local MP

Darren Rodwell, the current head of Barking Council, is vying to become the local Member of Parliament. He posed for pictures with the banner, but concealed how it was held in place.

Public Outrage

Matt Lismore, a Labour member, expressed his shock at the display and took the banner down. He criticized Rodwell, stating that he has consistently shown a lack of respect for the borough's residents. Lismore called the use of gravestones to hang the banner a new low.

Call for Suspension

Matthew Goodwin-Freeman, an activist from Harrow Conservatives, deemed the act "disgraceful" and called for Rodwell's immediate suspension from the Labour party.

Mr. Rodwell has yet to comment on the incident.
