RISHI Sunak faces a fresh Tory rebellion as MPs prepare to force a vote on leaving the hated European Convention on Human Rights.
Backbenchers say there could be a 40-strong group prepared to vote for it as they tee up a Commons clash with a fresh amendment in the coming days.

Rebels are pushing the rebellion to leave the pact in a last ditch bid to stop the boats – after the PM refused to.
A previous attempt to change the law to force ministers to ignore ECHR rulings in deportations, led by Tory MP Jonathan Gullis, got the support of 67 MPs.
Earlier this week Mr Sunak said he wanted the new Illegal Immigration Bill to go ahead without quitting the ECHR.
The PM is thought to be reluctant over its effect on the new Brexit Northern Ireland treaty.
And some Tories want to leave the threat on the table ahead of the next election in case the new law fails to stop the dangerous crossings.
Downing Street said: “It still remains the case that we believe we can bring in tough new legislation that remains within [the] ECHR.”
