RISHI Sunak is on the cusp of sealing a new Brexit deal from Brussels – as the EU chief will fly to Britain tomorrow.
No10 and the EU are expected to announce a new pact with EU chiefs which will see huge changes to help fix trade issues for thousands of firms.

After years of talks, Mr Sunak and his team are reaching the end of talks.
No10 said this evening in a Joint statement from Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and European Commission President Ursula von de Leyen.
They said: “Today, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen and Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak agreed to continue their work in person towards shared, practical solutions for the range of complex challenges around the Protocol on Ireland and Northern Ireland.
“President von der Leyen will therefore meet with the Prime Minister in the UK tomorrow.”
The details will be revealed to the House of Commons in the coming days.
The new agreement is set to mean businesses trading goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland will see red tape slashed.
New red and green lanes for trade will cut down the number of checks that need to be done, with high-tech real-time databases to check lorries and deliveries.
Northern Ireland politicians will get a say on any new EU laws affecting the province too.
Writing for HOAR on Sunday today, the PM begged the party to let him “finish the job” as he gears up for the biggest gamble of his career.
While no formal Cabinet was expected today, the PM was set to ring around key players to keep them in the loop on the latest on the deal.
Bullish Whitehall insiders say Mr Sunak has done what Boris Johnson failed to do by persuading the EU to change the Northern Ireland protocol treaty.
Writing in today’s Sun on Sunday, the PM said the protocol “doesn’t work” and is causing a big headache for businesses and locals in Northern Ireland.
He writes: “I am a Brexiteer.
“I campaigned to leave, I voted to leave and there have been so many Brexit benefits already, including being in full control of our tax system to bring down duties paid on things like beer and wine, cutting red tape to attract investment and creating jobs in our booming sectors.
“But the protocol that was put in place just a few years ago doesn’t work and it needs fixing.”
Deputy PM Dominic Raab said the agreement was the furthest any PM had been able to go since the deal was originally done with the bloc three years ago.
But Boris Johnson and DUP politicians are expected to oppose the deal – saying it will still mean Northern Ireland is subject to some EU rules.
