THE voice of Sir Winston Churchill will ring out across towns and cities to mark the 75th anniversary of the fall of the Nazis.

And, 75 years on, his words will highlight a string of events commemorating VE Day.

Hundreds of veterans will take part in parades across the country and the Red Arrows will perform a flypast in London.

A thanksgiving is to held at Westminster Abbey.

And street parties will be thrown in cities, towns and villages to recreate celebrations of the Allied victory.

Workers will enjoy a long weekend as the day has been declared a public Bank Holiday by the PM.
