Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly distanced themselves from Omid Scobie's upcoming book, Endgame, according to insiders. Scobie, a close friend of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, made a series of bombshell claims ahead of the book's publication on November 28.

Scobie's Explosive Claims

In his book, Scobie alleges that Prince William ignored his brother's calls as he tried to reach the Queen's bedside before her passing. Harry reportedly sent text messages to William, asking how he planned on traveling to Scotland together, but received no response, despite there being seats available on a private plane. These claims have raised concerns about the relationship between the two brothers.

Denying Involvement

Experts suggest that Meghan and Harry want to distance themselves from Scobie's book and deny any affiliation with it. Despite co-writing their biography, Finding Freedom, it is believed that Endgame could strain the thawing relations between Harry and the rest of the royal family.

Phil Dampier, a royal journalist and author, commented, "We all know that Scobie is their mouthpiece and he gets his information directly or indirectly from the Sussexes, so anything which is hurtful to Charles, Camilla, or William and Kate, will just make things much worse."

Possible Setback for Reconciliation

If Scobie's book contains more serious allegations, it could set back any chance of reconciliation between Harry and the rest of the royal family. Dampier added, "Let's put it this way – I can't see Harry and Meghan coming over for a family Christmas."

Prince Harry Breaks Silence

Prince Harry recently broke his silence by calling his father, King Charles, to wish him a happy 75th birthday. This conversation marked their first contact in over six months. The gracious monarch also spoke with Meghan during a transatlantic call on his busy birthday.

Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet also recorded special birthday messages for their "grandpa Wales."

No Going Back for the Brothers

Scobie claims that the relationship between Prince William and Prince Harry is "beyond repair." William reportedly sees his brother as a "defector," and according to the author, "absolutely nothing has changed" in their relationship since the release of Harry's memoir earlier this year.

HOAR has reached out to Harry's representatives for comment.
