Since their move, bullying allegations against Meghan, claims she was unpopular with staff, and reports of arguments with members of the family have arisen.

And Meghan and Harry gave their side of palace drama in a bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.

Now a source has claimed that behind the scenes has been “a lot simpler” without her and Harry.

They told The Daily Mirror: “One of the main issues with Harry and Meghan when they were part of the working family was their inability to understand how things worked.

“It’s been a lot simpler without them kicking off over why they couldn’t just do what they wanted.

“Things are a lot calmer.”

In November 2018, it was reported “Meghan left Kate in tears”

In November 2018, it was reported “Meghan left Kate in tears” over her demands for Princess Charlotte’s bridesmaids dress during a “stressful” fitting.

It was then subsequently claimed that the “rift” began when Kate said the bridesmaids should follow royal protocol by wearing tights which Meghan disagreed with.

However, in her interview with Oprah Winfrey, Meghan claimed she had been the one left in tears by Kate.

In the interview, Meghan also revealed she had experienced suicidal thoughts during her time in the UK.

She said when she reached out for help with the Palace’s Human Resources team, she was told because she was not a paid employee, she could not be supported.

Before the couple’s wedding it was claimed that the Queen reportedly warned her grandson over Meghan’s attitude

However royal sources slammed the couple’s claims that the Palace offered her no assistance when she felt suicidal.

Meanwhile the couples unofficial book, Finding Freedom, Harry and Meghan and the Making of a Modern Royal, it was claimed that Meghan felt like people in the palace wanted her to “serve her child on a silver platter”.

While she came under attack for breaking tradition and not allowing the media or the public a glimpse of baby Archie on his christening day, Meghan didn’t care, according to the book authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand.

And earlier this year a Royal insider claimed that Palace staff are armed with “harrowing stories” in relation to bullying allegations made against Meghan Markle.

The explosive revelation came as Buckingham Palace reportedly hired a third-party legal team to launch the probe into the allegations made against the Duchess of Sussex.

Meghan has vehemently denied the assertions, branding them a “calculated smear campaign”.

Before the couple’s wedding it was claimed that the Queen reportedly warned her grandson over Meghan’s attitude in the lead up to the big day at Windsor Castle in May.

Meghan initially wanted a tiara that featured emeralds, according to royal sources.

But the future Duke and Duchess of Sussex were unhappy when told her first choice was impossible, as no one knew exactly where it came from.

In the end, the future royal wore Queen Mary’s diamond bandeau made in 1932 for the big day.

It came amid claims the Duchess of Sussex is unpopular with palace staff, with some branding her “dictatorial” and say she emails them instructions as early as 5am.

Household staff were reportedly left astounded when she demanded air fresheners to fix the “musty” smell at St George’s Chapel before her wedding, but Buckingham Palace officials said no.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment.
