Prince Harry was seen engaging in conversation with Hollyoaks actress, Beth Herlihy, as he awaited the arrival of Meghan Markle at the Invictus Games. The Duke of Sussex was snapped talking to Herlihy, who portrayed a stripper in a racy spin-off of the popular soap opera. The encounter took place at the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Dusseldorf.

From PVC Bodysuit to Event Manager for the Royal Foundation

Beth Herlihy, who also has a background in modeling, once posed in a PVC bodysuit in 2012. However, in 2016, she started working as an events manager for the Royal Foundation and became acquainted with the Sussexes. Despite the couple's departure from the foundation in 2018, Herlihy has evidently maintained a friendly relationship with them.

Meghan's Brief Stopover in the UK

While Prince Harry chatted with Beth Herlihy, Meghan Markle made a brief visit to the UK before heading to Germany. Later, both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were pictured arriving in Dusseldorf, where they attended a reception for athletes and their loved ones as part of the Invictus Games. The couple's children, Archie and Lilibet, remained in the United States.

Emotional Farewell Speech Planned

German media outlets have reported that Meghan Markle is expected to deliver a "very emotional" closing speech during the farewell ceremony of the Invictus Games. This sporting event, designed for disabled military veterans, features various sports and challenges and is scheduled to last for a week.

Kate Middleton's Royal Engagement

Meanwhile, across the pond, Princess Kate has been actively involved in a royal engagement. She visited inmates struggling with addiction at HMP High Down in Surrey. The Princess, wearing a navy power suit, caught the attention of many with the skin-colored plasters wrapped around her fingers. Kate, who is the patron of The Forward Trust, showed her support for inmates ahead of Addiction Awareness Week.
