PRINCE HARRY has been spotted arriving in Japan wearing the necklace he claimed was broken by Prince William during a fight in 2019 – and it has a secret meaning.

He’s currently visiting the country to take part in the ISPS Sports Values Summit-Special Edition in Tokyo tomorrow.

He was seen making his way through the crowds at the airport, donning an Archewell cap, polo shirt and what appears to be the same necklace from the alleged altercation.

Harry previously showed off the necklace on an episode of The Late Show back in January when he was promoting his tell-all memoir, Spare.

In the book, Harry alleged William “grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor.”

“I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out,” he added.

The Duke of Sussex claimed he was left with a visible injury to his back following the argument in at Nottingham Cottage on the grounds of Kensington Palace, where he was living at the time.

The alleged row broke out after William called Meghan “rude” and “abrasive”, Harry noted.

While promoting the book, Harry revealed on his The Late Show appearance that the necklace has since been fixed.

When asked by host Stephen Colbert what is on the necklace, Harry pulled it out from under his shirt to reveal two silver tags on the cord, as he explained it’s secret meaning.

“We’ve got my kids’ heartbeats, which my wife gave me,” he said.

As well as the engravings Archie and Lilibet‘s heartbeats from their cardiograms, the necklace also has a tiger’s eye pendent, which he noted a friend in Botswana made for him.

Meghan Markle was not with Harry at the airport, instead he was seen walking alongside Argentine polo player and friend Nacho Figueras.

His solo appearance comes just days after the couple snapped up the rights to film a best-selling book in a unusual move.

Experts estimate it may have cost up to £3million for the romantic novel Meet Me At The Lake by former journalist turned author Carley Fortune.

And although Harry might be flying solo on this trip, he was spotted enjoying a toned down dinner to celebrate Meghan’s 42nd Birthday in California earlier this month.

The couple appeared to be in good spirits as dined at the prestigious Italian restaurant with friend Matt Cohen, and the party wrapped things up early just before 9pm.

Claims earlier this week suggested Meghan’s low-key birthday plans were part of putting to bed the endless “soap opera” surrounding them and the Royal Family.
