Charlotte, eight, and Louis, who only turned five two weeks ago, travelled with their parents while their brother George arrived with other Pages of Honour.

Charlotte and the Princess of Wales are today dressed in matching outfits complete with silver crowns.

The pair are wearing an Alexander McQueen dress in ivory silk crepe with silver bullion and thread work embroidery featuring rose, thistle, daffodil and shamrock motifs.

Charlotte and Louis are set to take part in a ceremonial walk at the end of the two-hour ceremony.

Louis, who stole the show with his cheeky antics at the Platinum Jubilee a year ago, is also due to be in a carriage to wave to crowds on the 1.3-mile Coronation Procession from Westminster Abbey back to Buckingham Palace.

He will once again travel with the Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince George and Princess Charlotte in the carriage behind the Gold State Coach of the King and Queen.

Yesterday Kate was asked whether she thought her youngest would behave today.

She told fans: “I hope so! You never quite know with him!”

Nine-year-old Prince George will be the youngest ever future king to have a ceremonial role at a coronation, as he appears as one of the King’s Pages of Honour.

All three children have been practicing this week, including a full rehearsal at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday.
