The troubles continue for Charles Anderson as he returns to Emmerdale and unleashes his anger on another villager. Will this lead to his departure from the Dales?
A Father's Mysterious Death
The recent scenes on ITV's hit soap opera, Emmerdale, saw Victor Anderson found dead in St Mary's Church. As he tried to escape from the police, who accused him of stealing Rishi Sharma's necklace, Victor's plans were cut short. It was later revealed that his own son, Charles, framed him for the theft in an effort to protect his mother Claudette.
Charles' Guilty Conscience
The guilt over his actions has been eating away at Charles, leading him to make the decision to leave the village. This departure puts Manpreet Sharma in a difficult position, as she is the only one aware of Charles' dark secret.
A Desperate Plea
Next week, Manpreet and Ethan Anderson both take a day off to assist Claudette with the funeral arrangements. Manpreet, feeling the weight of the secret, leaves Charles a voicemail, begging him to return to Emmerdale.
The Explosive Outburst
Unable to run any longer, Charles heeds Manpreet's plea and returns home. However, things quickly take a turn for the worse as he finds himself unable to confess the truth to Claudette. Troubled, Charles seeks solace in the Woolpack, where his drinking catches the attention of Tom King.
Unfortunately, Tom's well-intentioned sympathy only serves to aggravate Charles further leading to a shocking outburst. In a surprising twist, Charles pins Tom to the bar, leaving onlookers in awe.
A Cry for Help
Amidst the chaos, Charles' family finally steps in to try and calm him down. With their arrival, Charles releases Tom from his grip. Concerned for his well-being, Charles' family chases after him as he flees.
