CORONATION Street viewers are convinced Ali Neeson is the father of Maria Connor’s baby instead of boyfriend Gary Windass.
Fans of the ITV soap reckon Maria is keeping the huge secret after giving ex Ali “a knowing look” in the Rovers Return.

Maria – played by actress Samia Longchambon – dumped the doctor while he was struggling with his pill addiction.
Although she soon moved on with super villian, Gary Windass, not long after.
Maria shocked fans after announcing she was expecting a baby with the serial killer.
However, viewers of the soap are convinced the baby is Ali’s.

Ali warned his ex not to have the baby with Gary
During last night’s episode, Maria gave Ali a look while leaving the pub.
The moment left fans guessing over whether there was something going on between the pair.
One wrote: “Calling it now – Marias baby will turn out to be Alis and Gary will kill him.”
Another guessed: “Plot twist…… The baby is going to be Ali‘s. Maria will find out at the scan she’s further on than she thinks and it’s not Gary’s.”
A third commented: “Women really need to stop sleeping with Gary. Please let this baby be Ali‘s and get him and Maria back together.”
Later on in the episode, Ali warned Maria not to have the baby with Gary.
He said: “You can’t have his kid.”
Maria replied: “Don’t Ali, it’s too late for this.”
Ali added: “You can’t move in with him either.”
The character – played by James Burrows – went on to reveal that Gary was a loan shark, saying: “He lends people money and when they can’t afford to pay it back, he goes round beating them up, threatening them or taking their stuff.”
Gary is set to be exposed as a loan shark following Corrie’s Christmas day shooting.
The cobbles will be rocked by a gun horror as Christmas turns into a nightmare, and Ali jumps at the opportunity to expose Gary’s secret criminal life.
