CORONATION Street’s fans were left in shock last night after Abi Franklin went into labour after a drugs binge.
The mechanic – who is played by actress Sally Carman in the ITV soap – collapsed at the side of the road in agony after going into premature labour.
After coming to mend things with his ex, Kevin left and Abi continued her partying with drug dealer Dean – but when she rushed to the toilet in pain, he stole the keys for the garage and went to steal a car.
Running over, Abi tried to stop him but he pulled her in and drove off. But midway through the joyride, Abi was in agony and demanded he pull over.
“I’m trying to tell you something, just listen to me you moron,” she screamed as she collapsed by the side of the road.
As she desperately tried to call for help, Abi fell to the floor and called 999.
“I’m having a baby,” she said before her battery died and she collapsed.
