CORONATION Street’s Aadi Alahan will be seduced by an older woman in a steamy affair plot.

The teenager, who is the son of shopkeeper Dev Alahan, is played by Adam Hussain.

Stephanie Davis will play the role of Courtney Vance

His heart will soon start racing when Stephanie Davis‘ brand new character Courtney Vance arrives on the cobbles.

Best known for playing Sinead O’Connor in the Channel 4 soap as well as an infamous appearance on Celebrity Big Brother, Stephanie will be joined by Archers star Ryan Early who will play her husband Darren.

Darren will be introduced as a business associate of Dev Alahan this summer with Courtney arriving on Coronation Street soon after.

But while Dev and Darren Vance spend time talking business, Courtney sets her sights on a toyboy lover in the shape of Dev’s son Aadi Alahan.

It’s not long before Aadi finds himself caught up in a web of deceit as cunning Courtney orchestrates reasons for the pair to meet up behind Dev and Darren’s backs.

Stephanie and Ryan start filming this week and will appear on screen in July.

Stephanie said: “I am absolutely delighted to be joining the cast of Coronation Street, playing the part of Courtney Vance. 

“Growing up I have always watched and loved the show, so to be part of the biggest TV soap in Britain, which is in the hearts and homes of so many people, is an honour.”

Coronation Street Producer Iain MacLeod said: “In Stephanie and Ryan, we have cast two fantastic actors as the catalyst for this fun, fiery storyline. 

“Aadi will quickly find himself way out of his depth as he risks everything for Courtney. 

“And while it is the best time he’s ever had in his life, he stands to end up in a whole heap of trouble!”

Coronation Street airs on ITV1 and ITVX.
