Coronation Street star Alan Halsall has recently made a heartbreaking confession about 'clearing his mind' following his split from Tisha Merry. The couple, who dated for five years, went their separate ways at the beginning of 2024.

Before the news of their split emerged, Alan, best known for his role as Tyrone Dobbs on Coronation Street since 1998, shared his feelings on an Instagram post. The Manchester-based David Lloyd gym account posted a video of one of their low-intensity classes, to which Alan responded about the need to work on his mental clarity.
Reasons Behind the Breakup
Alan and Tisha, who began dating in 2019 after her time on Corrie, regularly documented their activities on Instagram, with Tisha moving into Alan's £750k home. However, the couple faced challenges as they started drifting apart and felt the strain of maintaining their relationship, leading to their decision to part ways.
Focus on Self
An insider shared that despite their love for each other and shared interests, Alan and Tisha realized they were not on the same page, prompting them to prioritize themselves and their individual friendships. Tisha has since moved out of Alan's home and is immersing herself in work.
Previous Relationship
Alan was previously married to his Corrie co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson, whom he started dating in 2005. The couple got married in 2009 but separated in 2016. They have a daughter together named Sienna-Rae.
