CORONATION Street actress Alexandra Mardell has married her actor partner Joe Parker in a private ceremony in Yorkshire.
The couple, who got engaged in 2021, banned their family and friends from using their phones on the special day in a bid to stop it leaking onto social media.

The 90 guests that attended the nuptials at Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey, Skipton, all complied with the couple’s wishes.
Alex, 29, told OK!: We asked politely for people not to use phones during the ceremony and to keep any pictures offline. Everyone said that they really enjoyed being present. It was just about us all being there on the day and it was lovely.
“There’s always that one auntie that tells everyone or posts it all over Facebook because they’re excited, but we just asked everyone to pass the word around and that if they didn’t mind, to wait until we’d posted pictures. Everyone has stood by that – and now we’re so excited to share them!”
There was a brief moment of worry on the morning of the wedding when Joe’s hotel had a power cut leaving them worried the venue might be affected.
Fortunately all was well and after a Greggs breakfast, he was ready to walk down the aisle.
Alex’s morning was a bit more refined as she sipped mimosas while getting her hair and makeup done.
The actress, who played Emma Brooker on the cobbles for four years, was walked down the aisle by her step-dad Mick to Al Green’s Let’s Stay Together.
It left groom Joe, 29, in floods of tears as he watched his love walk towards him in a stunning white lace wedding dress.
Joe and Alex met as drama students in 2017 and the big day saw their student pals in attendance.
Alex’s former Corrie co-stars Sair Khan and Charlotte Jordan, and Traitors star Maddy Smedley also attended.
There was an emotional tribute to Alex’s late dad Michael, who died from heart disease in 2016.
She told the publication: “We had a blanket made out of Dad’s shirts and set up on a chair throughout the ceremony. It felt like we had him with us.”
