Fans Left in Tears as Peter Barlow Says Goodbye to Weatherfield

Coronation Street viewers were left emotional as Peter Barlow, portrayed by actor Chris Gascoyne, bid farewell to the cobbles after 23 years. Peter, who has been struggling since killing serial killer Stephen Reid, was given a one-way ticket to Spain by his wife Carla, enabling him to embark on a round-the-world sailing trip. While it meant the end of their relationship, Peter ultimately decided that being away from Weatherfield was worth it.
