EastEnders Dominates Award Ceremony

The stars of popular UK soap opera EastEnders had a night to remember at the Inside Soap Awards. The cast took home an impressive six awards out of a possible 15, including the coveted Best Soap prize.

After their big win, the EastEnders cast didn't waste any time in celebrating. Just hours after the award ceremony, Max Bowden, Danielle Harold, and Shane Richie were spotted partying and enjoying drinks together.

Danielle Harold Shines at the Awards

Danielle Harold, who won the award for Best Actress for her portrayal of Lola Pearce-Brown, was seen looking stunning in a white suit. She was spotted sharing laughs and sipping champagne with Max Bowden (Ben Mitchell) and Shane Richie (Alfie Moon).

EastEnders' Success at the Awards

EastEnders had a lot to celebrate at the Inside Soap Awards. In addition to Best Soap and Best Actress, the show also won Best Storyline for Lola's journey, Best Young Performer for Isabella Brown (Lexi), Best Actor for Jamie Borthwick (Jay Brown), and Soap Superstar of 2023 for Max Bowden.

Other Winners from the Night

The Dingles from Emmerdale were named Best Family, while Mark Charnock (Marlon Dingle) and Dominic Brunt (Paddy Kirk) won Best Partnership. Coronation Street's Dame Maureen Lipman received the award for Best Comic Performance, and Todd Boyce was named Best Villain for his role as serial killer Stephen Reid.

Exciting Newcomer and Captivating Story

The award for Best Newcomer went to Channique Sterling-Brown, who plays solicitor Dee-Dee Bailey on Coronation Street. The Best Showstopper award was given for the acid attack story, showcasing the soap's stunning and impactful episode.
