EX-EASTENDERS star Davood Ghadami shocked fans with new villain makeover look after landing panto role.

Since leaving the BBC soap in 2021, the 40-year-old actor made a huge career change and is currently playing the role of bad guy Abanazar in the pantomime Aladdin at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre.

The actor played Kush Kazemi from 2014 to 2021

Fans were seriously distracted by Davood’s panto makeup look

Davood’s character on EastEnders tragically died when serial killer Gray Atkins pushed him under a train at a tube station.

Now Davood is playing a villain himself – but his panto look is very different to character Kush Kazemi.

He wears an extravagant purple costume with a statement headpiece and cape.

And his makeup look involved a lot of eyeliner.

He also showed off his rippling abs – leaving fans swooning.

One fan commented: “Woahhhhh you got a body like the genie too.”

Another wrote: “You look amazing! Hope it went well x.”

A third penned: “Looking great, lovely!”

Davood portrayed Eli Ebrahimi in Holby City which was axed last March.

He appeared on Strictly Come Dancing in 2017 alongside professional partner Nadiya Bychkova.

This year, Davood’s co-star and friend James Bye who plays Martin Fowler on the BBC soap joined the 2022 cast.

Davood was on hand to offer James many Strictly tips.

James was voted out of the competition during the special Halloween Week.

Amid his exit, Davood posted: “I’m really proud of my brilliant friend. He made so much progress and I feel like there was a lot more to see from him…

“But that’s the horrible thing with @bbcstrictly its everything then suddenly its gone.

“Better to have danced and lost than not to have danced at all. Love ya @jimmybye.”
