Delayed Festive Episode
Soap bosses have thrown viewers another curveball with a schedule change. The Christmas episode will be aired at a later time slot tonight, making way for BBC sitcom Ghosts and its own Christmas special at 7.45pm. EastEnders will finally air at 9.45pm, featuring Sharon Watts and Keanu Taylor's wedding, which is set to end in tragedy.

Viewers will also need to adjust their viewing habits on Boxing Day, as EastEnders will air past its usual 7.30pm slot. Additionally, an unexpected episode will be exceptionally aired on Friday, December 29, at 7.30pm. Episodes for the week will also be available on BBC iPlayer from Tuesday to Friday at 6am.
