EASTENDERS fans are convinced he will murder Chelsea Fox after she tricked him into confessing to Chantelle’s murder to the police.
The serial killer – who is played by actor Toby-Alexander Smith in the BBC soap – was finally exposed for two of his murders tonight.
Chelsea played a dangerous game with Gray and tried to get him to confess to his crimes after he snatched their son and kept him hidden from her.
“If you want us to go away together, to be together, to have a future together then you need to tell me the truth,” she said.
“Did you kill Chantelle? I love you Gray and I am on your side. Tell me – it’s just you and me here. I have to know – did you do it? Did you kill Chantelle?”
Finally Gray confessed – but insisted it wasn’t his fault.
“It was an accident, you probably don’t believe me but it’s the truth,” he said lying through his teeth and not noticing what Chelsea had done.
“We’d been having problems, I can’t pretend that we weren’t,” he added as the couple stood ominously next to the opened dishwasher with knives stood up.
“I found out she’d been seeing Kheerat and he was obsessed, pursued her. Chantelle was a vulnerable woman, I did not abuse her. I protected her.”
He claimed she admitted an affair with Kheerat, insisting she was begging him to forgive her before saying she couldn’t live without him and the kids.
“I went to kiss her but she misunderstood and thought I was angry and she stepped back and fell,” he added.
Chelsea questioned him and insisted she was going to go with him – but kept stalling.
And it soon became clear that she had phoned 999 when he grabbed her and dropped her phone.
Handing it back to her it was revealed that the call had been connected for 15 minutes – exposing his confession to the authorities.
Chelsea looked terrified as Gray darkened his eyes at her and fans fear he will kill her.
One wrote: “Its Curtains for Chelsea babyy #EastEnders.”
A second said: “#EastEnders Chelsea is a dead women now !!!”
Another added: “Just when I thought it was coming to an end!… why did they have to do that man!? #EastEnders I hope they come in time and he don’t get to kill Chelsea aswell ffs #Grey“
