EASTENDERS’ Jean Slater predicted that her granddaughter Lily would fall pregnant with Ricky Jnr’s baby – more than A DECADE ago.
Fans have unearthed a throwback clip of Jean musing that Lily would become romantically involved with Peggy Mitchell’s grandson in the future.

The remarkable footage comes after 12-year-old school girl Lily finally revealed the identity of her baby’s father in Wednesday night’s EastEnders.
Lily made the confession to her grandmother Jean, after she was told: “Now, as much as you want to – and we all want it to – it’s not going to go away.”
In the throwback clip, which has been shared online, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) can be seen entering the Queen Vic while carrying her newborn daughter in a car seat.
Rushing over, Peggy – played by the late Dame Barbara Windsor – squeals: “Oh you could make it – and you’ve brought the little one with you!
“Oh she’s a pretty little thing, isn’t she?”
Jean then tells her: “You never know, your grandson and our Lily might become sweethearts one day.
“Imagine that? Another Slater and Mitchell wedding.”
Peggy replies: “There’s no harm in dreaming, is there?”
Jean then walks over to Ricky Jnr’s mum Sam, who is being played by the character’s original actress Danniella Westbrook.
“How’s your baby?” she asks.
Sam replies: “Oh he’s round at Jack and Ronnie’s. Mum thought I deserved a little night off.”
The clip has already been watched thousands of times on Twitter after EastEnders fan site Walford Web shared it.
Lily’s confession about the identity of her baby dad comes after fears that she could have been sexually abused.
The BBC One soap aired the first scenes of her child pregnancy storyline on New Year’s Day.
But Lily (portrayed by Lillia Turner) has so far refused to tell her mother who fathered her baby.
Social services and the police launched an investigation over Lily’s young age, and questioned her this week.
Viewers have been convinced it is all manner of man responsible, with everyone from Freddie Slater to Lily’s surrogate dad Martin Fowler.
On Wednesday night however, she eventually broke the news to Jean and Stacey that it is Ricky Jnr.
“He’s not my boyfriend,” Lily insisted.
“We only did it once. But he can never know.”
