EASTENDERS legend Kacey Ainsworth has finally addressed whether she will return to the soap as Little Mo.
The soap star, 53, left the BBC One show in 2006 and has since gone on to star in a number of theatre and TV roles.
Kacey played the role of Little Mo on the BBC soap for six years
Little Mo was married to Billy Mitchell
Mum of one Kacey played the role of Cathy Keating in ITV drama Grantchester and is now performing in the ‘Mam I’m ‘Ere’ musical.
The show sees three mothers who could potentially be a bride’s mum – with Kacey playing the role of Brenda.
However, as Kat Slater prepares to marry Phil Mitchell in EastEnders, could we be seeing Kasey return to Walford?
Unfortunately for now that doesn’t seem to be the case.
Speaking to the Daily Star, Kasey said: “I’ve done so much since I’ve left.
“I’m a regular in an ITV series that’s now…we’re onto our seventh series of that.
“I’ve done so many things. Mrs Lovitt [in Sweeney Todd at the Everyman Theatre], I’ve just finished a play called Lava in London.”
She added that she doesn’t think there’s “room” for a soaps return at present, but did not rule it out completely.
Little Mo left the Square after her then husband Billy Mitchell couldn’t face looking after her son Freddie, after he learned he was her rapist’s Graham’s child.
EastEnders airs on BBC One and iPlayer.
