Struggling to Cope

Linda Carter, played by Kellie Bright, has been overwhelmed by recent events and her life has taken a dark turn. She has been drowning her sorrows and spiraling out of control since the death of Keanu Taylor. To make matters worse, Linda is constantly reminded of her rapist, Dean Wicks, who she keeps bumping into in Albert Square.

A Son's Support

Next week, Linda's son Johnny Carter returns to Walford after six years away. He immediately bends over backwards to help his struggling mother. Johnny lifts a drunk Linda up and confronts the family about her worsening condition. This prompts the revelation that Dean is back, leading Johnny to take matters into his own hands.

A Violent Confrontation

Johnny rushes to confront Dean but is followed by Ben Mitchell. The confrontation escalates, and Johnny ultimately punches Dean, warning him to leave Linda alone. The situation becomes even more intense as Linda's drinking spirals out of control, leading to a humiliating incident at The Vic.

A Plan to Help Linda

Johnny and Gina, who had a rocky relationship due to Dean, decide to put the past behind them and work together. They come up with a plan to retrieve a recording from Dean and wipe it to help Linda. However, things take an unexpected turn when Linda is horrified by the idea of being near Keanu Taylor's body.

An Explosive Argument

An argument erupts between Dean and Johnny, resulting in a smashed glass and Linda cutting her hand. Johnny is shocked by Linda's explosive reaction and wonders if there is more to the situation. Theories have emerged online about Linda potentially confessing to Keanu's murder and leaving Walford for good.

EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
