LOLA and Jay find it increasingly difficult to keep their romance under wraps on EastEnders this week.
The young lovebirds have been keeping the romance a secret from their fellow residents on Albert Square but it soon becomes an issue when Jay (Jamie Borthwick) finds himself having to pretend to be single.

Lexi is not happy with her mother
A single Martin (James Bye) finds himself the opportunity to head out on a date and he is soon convincing Jay to come along as well to make a double date putting Jay in an awkward position.
Martin begs Jay to be his wingman forcing Jay and Lola, played by Danielle Harold, discussing if they should be open about their relationship.
Martin arrives to plan their double date leaving Lola to hide her jealousy.
As Jay is forced to head off on his date despite all his doubts it isn’t long until Lola turns up at Peggy’s where she witnesses Amber taking a shine to Jay.
Jay soon makes an excuse and heads off to see Lola.
The pair then decide to tell Martin about their romance but ask him to stay quiet unaware that little Lexi has been growing more and more suspicious.
Soon Martin spills all in front of Lily who is quick to congratulate Lexi on her mum’s new romance leading to a kick off from Lexi (Isabella Brown) over her mum keeping her in the dark.
Lexi warns Lola that she must make it up to her.
Lexi lists her demands after Jay and Lola lied to her about their relationship and Lola turns to Felix for help with Lexi’s pageant next week.
Speaking on the storyline, actress Danielle Harold said: “When Lola first gets back together with Jay, obviously they’ve been through a lot of ups and downs over the years, so she just wants to make sure they’re ok before they tell Lexi and everyone else.
“She wants to see how it goes for them before everyone knows this time. But Lexi does get wind of it and finds out Lola has lied to her and doesn’t take that well at all.”
Speaking on Lexi’s demands for her mum when she uncovers the romance, the star said: “Lexi has been taught not to lie so when she finds out she’s been lied to, she makes it work to her advantage.
“There is a massive list of demands which include some crazy ones. Isabella played that very well during the scene.
“I had to remind Isabella that I wasn’t actually getting her these things.”
