WHITNEY Dean and Kheerat Panesar continue to go above and beyond to protect Chelsea Fox from Gray Atkins.
But during tomorrow night’s EastEnders, the pair are caught mid-conversation by a shocked Karen Taylor.
With Chelsea (played by Zaraah Abrahams) under Gray’s (Toby-Alexander Smith) thumb, Whitney and Kheerat (Shona McGarty and Jaz Deol) are finding it hard to find her a way out of her potentially life-threatening marriage.
Things are getting worse at No.1: Whitney is horrified when she learns that the lawyer and serial killer has hurt Chelsea.
She meets up with Kheerat in the Vic to work out their next step in their plan to expose Gray for his villainous deeds and the two talk quietly in the pub.

Unbeknownst to them, another resident is shocked to spot them looking very close.
Sat at the bar, Karen (Lorraine Stanley) begins to wonder if there is anything more going on between the characters.
Karen is none other than Chantelle Akins’ (Jessica Plummer) mother.
Gray’s first wife Chantelle died in September, 2020, and it was thought she had passed following a tragic home accident.
However, BBC One viewers know all too well what really happened.
Subjected to horrific acts of domestic abuse – from physical violence to (implied) sexual assault in a bid to have another baby – Chantelle was trying to leave her abusive husband Gray but was caught at the last minute.
Following a heated argument during which she admitted she no longer loved him, Chantelle was violently pushed by Gray onto an upturned knife in the dishwasher.
A few instalments before, in a sinister ironic twist, he had mentioned how cutlery should always be upturned when in the dishwasher in order to be correctly cleaned.
Gray watched Chantelle die as he staged her death, making it seem like she had slipped on one of their children’s toys.
The dramatic storyline provoked a multitude of reactions when it first aired and has taken centre stage as Whitney and Kheerat are convinced Gray really did murder Chantelle.
Karen remains oblivious to the matter as she was never made aware of the abuse her late daughter endured.
She had already briefly encountered Whitney following Gray’s wedding to Chelsea.
Drama preceded the reception and rocked Walford as it was revealed that Whitney had kissed Gray months before, in October, 2021.
At the time, Gray had confided in Whitney about his father’s death.
This led to Whitney being branded a homewrecker, notably by Chelsea’s aunt Kim Fox on the day of Gray’s Christmas wedding.
But things have since changed between Whitney and Gray.
Will Karen say anything to her former son-in-law about what she has seen?
