EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick seemed to let slip a major spoiler about his character Jay Brown's exit from the show in a now-deleted post. The 29-year-old star paid tribute to Jay last night after his character was left for dead in Wednesday's intense episode.
Jamie hints at character's demise
Sharing a childhood photo of himself, Jamie wrote: "RIP Jay, gonna miss you lad. We had a laugh didn't we." Although he swiftly deleted the post, it had already been viewed by thousands of fans who began to speculate if he were following in the footsteps of Danielle Harold, who played Jay's wife Lola on the show and sadly died from a brain tumour earlier this year.
Since Lola's death, Jay has been overwhelmed by a series of problems, including a crippling drug addiction, which have taken over his life.
