Emmerdale fans all have the same complaint after village’s secret serial killer strikes again

EMMERDALE fans were all left saying the same thing as the show’s ‘secret serial killer’ appeared to strike again.

Viewers of the ITV soap opera were left open-mouthed as Dan Spencer, played by actor Liam Fox, struck Amelia’s stalker with one punch, knocking him to the ground.

Fans know that Lloyd has been attempting to communicate with Amelia after discovering her online throuhg her public social media channel.

Things came to a head between the pair when he left the young mum terrified after continuing to bombard her after a ‘scary’ encounter at Mandy’s salon.

Despite this, it appeared that the stranger had left her alone until he re-appeared and insisted they talked at the Church.

Clearly rattled, Amelia listened as Lloyd appeared to suggest he was lonely and that he had taken comfort in watching Amelia’s posts online.

Appearing to manipulate the teen, he told her that he almost saw her as a ‘celebrity‘ and that was why he acted so overly-friendly as he felt he knew her on a personal level.

After the chat, Amelia gave him a hug goodbye which was witnessed by Dan who stormed over to him angrily.

Following an intense exchange of words, Dan’s fist did the talking as he knocked Lloyd out onto the floor where he bashed his head at full force on a rock below.

However, Emmerdale fans were left more interested in the fact a ‘rock’ had done the job once again.

A rock has previously been used to take out fellow villagers and some fans argued that the show had recycled the same narrative.

Writing online, one said: “Dan punches him and he hits his head on a well placed rock, much like when Cain punched Joe. Come on ITV hurry up and replace these producers.”

Another said of the rock: “Deadly Emmerdale rock strikes again.”

A third labelled it a ‘serial killer’ as they said: “I swear that rock moves around the village and is always placed where someone dies or almost dies outside. Serial killer rock.”

While a fourth wrote: “They need to remove the rocks in #Emmerdale. This must be the tenth time someone fell and hit their head on a rock.”

As a fifth penned: “The classic head landing on the one lonely rock!!!!!!!!”

Speaking about taking on the ‘one punch’ story, Dan actor Liam said: “This storyline is the best I’ve been a part of in all my time in Emmerdale.

“When it was first discussed with me, I just knew it was going to be something special. The producers have absolutely come up trumps with a story that really does mean something.

“So many of us have been in a situation where we could be put in the same position as Dan. Who wouldn’t want to protect their daughter from unwanted attention?

“Every day of the week somebody somewhere may strike out to hit someone not knowing what that punch could lead to.

“I just hope we’ve portrayed the story in a way that realistically shows the pain that can be felt on all sides.”
