EMMERDALE fans are convinced Debbie Dingle has been killed off after her mum Charity got a shocking phone call tonight.

The mechanic – who is played by actress Charley Webb in the ITV soap – hasn’t been seen in the village since 2021 after leaving temporarily to find a garage manager in Scotland.

She never returned and actress Charley later confirmed she had quit the soap.

In tonight’s episode Charity got a phone call with news that rocked her to her core – and fans think it’s bosses killing Debbie off.

As she sat down to build the baby mobile for Chloe’s baby, Mack walked in desperate to stop her.

She told him to go and sleep his mood off but then the phone rang – and it was clearly horrifying news.

“Yes this is Charity Dingle, who’s this?” she said picking up the phone.

“What information?” she added as her face dropped and she look utterly distraught.

“Are you sure?” Charity asked before dropping the phone.

The clearly devastating news left her completely shellshocked – and fans think they know what it is.

They are convinced the soap has killed off her daughter Debbie Dingle.

One wrote: “What was that call about? Is Chris tate or Zoe tate still alive? Is Debbie dead? It’s something serious.”

Another added: “What’s the phone call Charity receives???”
