Tracy Metcalfe has returned but fans are less than impressed

The character, who is played by Amy Walsh, is back with a brand new storyline.

Tracy had came up with a brand new money-making idea in a career change.

She planned to open up her very own nursery.

Tracy didn’t need to look very far for someone to fund her new venture as Caleb offered to cough up the cash.

But it left viewers asking where Caleb was getting the money from – and slamming Tracey for being ‘miserable’.

Taking to social media, one said: “Just where is Caleb getting his money from. He didn’t have a pot to pee in and was borrowing money to scam Kim. Bought a house, new furniture and now funding the useless Tracey.”

A second wrote: “Tracey, switch the iron on, you daft bint.”

“Tracey is so miserable, she brings bad vibes! #emmerdale,” said a third.

While a fourth commented: “Why would anyone in their right mind send their kids to misery guts Tracey’s nursery.”

Tracy first appeared in the soap all the way back in July 2014, when she was introduced as Sam Dingle’s love interest.

She came to the village after chatting with Sam via an adult chat line, and she ended up staying at Dingle Manor.

However, her relationship with Sam didn’t last long – she conned him out of his money, ended up sleeping in a barn and then went on to work for Val Pollard at the B&B.

Fast forward to 2016, and Tracy married David Metcalfe, played by Matthew Wolfenden before eventually falling for Nate Robinson with whom she welcomed a daughter named Frankie.
