Rita Ora performs on Love Island

SHE only tied the knot last year, yet serial dater Rita Ora has now entered the Love Island villa.

But in news that is sure to be a relief for her director husband Taika Waititi, it’s for a one-off performance as a treat for youngsters on the ITV2 show — not to find herself a new fella.

My exclusive photos show the You Only Love Me singer entertaining the contestants in scenes which will hit screens tomorrow night, weeks after Ne-Yo did the same.

A source said: “Rita was a surprise performer for the couples and they absolutely lost it.

“She sang a medley of hits including her recent single Praising You and bosses found an all-new location in Majorca for her to perform in.”

Rita jetted in following the release of her third album You & I, which is on course to go to No3 on Friday, behind J Hus’ new record and last week’s chart-topper from Taylor Swift.

Rita is probably the perfect person to give advice to young singletons in the villa, given she has her own chequered love life to look back on.

And in a new interview, she has reflected on how she suffered what she calls a “quarter-life crisis” when she turned 25.

Rita, who is now 32 and has previously romanced Rob Kardashian, Calvin Harris and Andrew Garfield, said she turned to dating in a bid to feel less lonely.

She explained: “My twenties felt like I was kind of alone, so I was looking for things in the wrong places.

“With love, sometimes it wouldn’t be good for me and people would tell me and I wouldn’t listen.

“I was eating really bad and I was drinking.”

And she said things came to a head when she suffered her first panic attack at a Prince’s Trust event in 2016 when she was waiting in a line to meet King Charles.

Speaking on the Diary Of A CEO podcast, she recalled: “I went into that bathroom and my hands were tingling and I was having the craziest panic attack.

“That was the first time, when I was 25.

“I thought my legs were going to give way, I didn’t know what was going on.

“I’ve met our now-King before, I was performing that day as well, I don’t know what happened.

“I went out and stood in that line.

“I met King Charles and I was just not there.”

I doubt she will have been quite as anxious meeting the reality star wannabes on Love Island.
