EMMERDALE fans are in shock after a horror stabbing in tonight’s episode.
The ITV soap aired a dramatic twist that left one character alone in a remote area fighting for his life after being stabbed.

Leyla came inches away from relapsing on cocaine
In tonight’s episode Jacob Gallagher discovered his mum Leyla Cavanagh about to relapse on cocaine.
He found her alone at home in the middle of the day with a line of drugs ready to take them.
Viewers know Leyla has been struggling with her marriage breakdown and loneliness in recent weeks, and tonight she came close to relapsing.
She called drug dealer Callum and bought a bag of drugs, determined to use them to forget her worries.
But before she had a chance, she was caught by Jacob.
He raged at her before locking her in her bedroom and heading out.
Taking her phone, he lured the drug dealer to another meet with the intention of warning him off with a knife he’d grabbed from the kitchen.
He threatened Callum, telling him he would nick his carotid artery and leave him to bleed out.
But in a shocking turn of events the weedy student had the blade turned on himself by the hardened criminal, and was left bleeding for dead on the side of the road.
Viewers were in shock at the horror twist.
One wrote: “S**t wasn’t expecting Jacob to get stabbed!”
A second said: “Does Jacob die tonight then? Bloody Leyla’s fault.”
Another added: “Did not have Jacob going all BTEC Batman on my bingo card for tonight”
Others were less sympathetic though, and said it was a stupid move on the character’s part to pull the knife.
“Why carry a knife with you? You had to have known that carrying that wasn’t going to end well for you, Jacob,” wrote one.
“Omg, Jacob. he shouldn’t have confronted Callum with the knife. His threat was actually a bit stupid,” said another.
