Nicky Milligan is struggling to keep his father Caleb’s revenge plan to himself as his big wedding day is fast approaching.
Meanwhile, Gabby Thomas (portrayed by Rosie Bentham) is over the moon as the wedding buzz begins tonight on ITV.
Families get ready to see Gabby and Nicky exchange their vow of ever-lasting love and Caleb (Will Ash) is quietly smug as he introduces Adrian to Kim Tate (Claire King).
The pair hit it off and Caleb is happy that his plan is on the right track.
But there’s a bombshell on the horizon as Nicky is finding it increasingly hard to live in a lie.
Gabby is in her wedding dress and is emotional as she reveals to Nicky that she wants him to officially adopt her son Thomas.
Awash with guilt and no longer able to keep quiet, Nicky comes clean and reveals he can’t go through the wedding because he is gay.
Regular viewers of the Yorkshire-based drama remember all too well that Nicky is in cahoots with his father Caleb to take over Home Farm.
The pair were revealed to be Frank Tate’s son and grandson as Caleb is desperate to get his hands on what he believe is his birth right.
He’s also hellbent on revenge as he blames Kim Tate for his father’s death.
But while Caleb has been staying close to Kim, Nicky was pushed to seduce Gabby and ask for her hand in marriage in an effort to get her share of the family fortune.
This was no easy feat for Nicky – his real lover Ally (Josh Horrocks) recently rocked up the eponymous village and befriended Gabby.
