LIAM Cavanagh has been keeping busy by writing his own murder mysteries and Wendy Posner figured out what he was up to.
But after letting her in on the secret, the Emmerdale GP is left aback tonight when she decides to take action to support him.

The jig was up for Liam (portrayed by Jonny McPherson) after Wendy (Susan Cookson) stumbled upon one of his short stories while in the surgery.
However, he was pleasantly surprised and comforted in his story writing and Wendy even suggested she could help him by making a few changes to his texts.
Bonding over a shared interest, Wendy and Liam have enjoyed each other’s company as their work relationship grows more personal.
The GP was thus prompted to invite her to a murder mystery convention with him in Hotten – and she accepted.
But tonight on ITV, Liam is taken aback when Wendy blatantly lies to her partner Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) about their plans.
Will he tell her what he thinks and will Bob figure out what Wendy is really up to?
And while the B&B owner is at loggerheads with business partner Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) tonight, he has no clue that he’s set for major heartbreak.
Spoilers and bosses have confirmed that Wendy and Liam are due to embark on a steamy affair after spending a night together in the village GP surgery.
Speaking to HOAR and other press, Susan Cookson mentioned that Wendy, due to her stable and committed relationship with Bob, will feel “terrible” about her actions but a headstrong Liam will persist.
“She’s devastated about that and basically, she tells Liam that this has to stop.”
“This was a moment’s madness it was great fun but she is in a deep, meaningful relationship with Bob and it has to stop.”
And according to Jonny McPherson, there’s a high chance Wendy and Liam could be a good match.
“They’ve definitely got more in the way of shared interests. Because Leyla, she’s weddings and nails… the cocaine”, Jonny explained.
“And Wendy’s very kind. And the empathy… They’ve both lost a child so there’s that”, Susan added.
The Wendy star also reminded that Liam is one of the only people in her life who know one of her biggest secrets, which is bound to bring them closer to one another.
“There is a little bit more to Wendy for Liam, because he knows about her past with her husband and her drug problem. She went to prison for a year because of her husband.”
“And there always seems to be this confusion with the public that Wendy is not a qualified nurse and she is. But she qualified under a different name.”
