I’M A Celebrity star Danny Miller sobbed uncontrollably in his car in a shocking new video after he quit Emmerdale.
The 30-year-old actor, who is currently in the castle, recorded an Instagram Story to go out following his final scenes.
The star left ITV’s Emmerdale after 13 years playing Aaron Dingle shortly before joining I’m A Celebrity.
In a video filmed after his final scenes and posted by his fiance Steph Jones, he sobbed uncontrollably.
He told fans he had to pull over in his car in his final trip out of the village where the show is filmed.
The actor said: “So guys that is a wrap on the day, a wrap on Aaron, a wrap on Danny. I’ll probably blubber through this.”
The actor added: “It was a very, very tough decision for me to make for my new family – Steph and my baby and my two dogs.
“It was a very difficult decision to make because I was only going to have two weeks with me baby before I was whisked off to the castle in Wales. It was a very tough decision to make.
“Steph pretty much forced me to be fair. I hope I’m entertaining people in there in a different way to the way Aaron’s entertained people.”
Speaking about his stint in camp he said: “I’m hoping at this point I’m still in the castle in Wales on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! which nobody knows about.
“Or very little people know about. This video is also to apologise to anyone I’ve lied to about it, but I signed a contract saying I wasn’t allowed to talk about it and I don’t want to get sued by ITV.”
Steph, with whom Danny shares a newborn baby, posted her own message on the video.
It read: “As you may be aware Danny has made some life changing decisions this year. But the biggest decision he made came in the decision to leave Emmerdale.
“Over the past 13 years Emmerdale has been like a second home to Danny.
“Having grown up with Aaron we have all cried, laughed, felt his heartbreak and sadness as Danny has portrayed some of the shows toughest storylines and I hope you agree he has done them justice.
“Cast and crew have become like a second family to Danny and as the video says he can’t thank them enough, but most importantly he would like to thank Aaron fans for sharing the journey with Danny and Aaron for all these years.
“And here’s hoping we see Danny back on our screens soon after the show doing what he loves most. Goodbye for now Aaron Dingle.”
